Sonya founded the firm in 1990 shortly after finishing her articling with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Working with clients across many industries, she has helped build the practice into what it is now.

Brett joined BBA Accounting in October 2019. He obtained his Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) from The University of Western Ontario in 2018. Brett graduated with a degree specializing in marketing but has since made the switch to accounting and has been taking courses to pursue his CPA designation. Outside of work Brett enjoys playing sports such as hockey or golf as well as traveling and hiking.

Turner is a 2022 BCOM Graduate from University of Victoria’s Gustavson business program; with a passion and drive for accounting, entrepreneurialism, global economics, and living a happy/healthy life. Turner is now pursuing a CPA designation. Outside of work Turner enjoys soccer, golf, rock climbing, hiking and especially traveling (33 Countries and counting!). Turner is a confident speaker who has participated in multiple business case competitions and a couple of entrepreneurship competitions. Michele joined the BBA Accounting Group in September 2015 as an Office Administrator, and she quickly advanced to the Bookkeeper role. Michele has completed the Bookkeeping/Accounting Assistant Certificate from Okanagan University College. She was drawn to bookkeeping after working and travelling for many years as a geologist, then staying home to focus on raising a family, and now enjoys working and living on the North Shore. In her spare time, Michele appreciates being outdoors hiking, camping, exploring, and spending time with her children.
